Giacomo Balla’s Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash does not really use vibrant colors but real colors to capture the movement a dog running. Balla used this technique to compete with the camera. Balla also showed the leash moving back and forth rapidly as if it were actually taken on film. Balla also showed the feet of a human running with the dog. The picture is in black, brown, and white so that it you can focus on the blur more also the background looks as if it is moving to show which direction the dog is moving. Balla uses lines, colors, and geometry to focus onto the dog.
