Astract Speed+ Sound

Giacomo Balla’s Abstract Speed + Sound is a revolutionary piece; it was painted to represent the atmosphere of a landscape when car passes through it. All of the crisscross lines represent the sound. Balla uses the colors to represent the mixture of the landscape and the air around it. The many represent the cars rippling affect on the atmosphere and landscape. Balla’s Abstract Speed + Sound uses dark colors and vibrant colors to make the landscape and atmosphere standout.
